Do you share our standards and our goals?

Gemlidays brings together a deliberately limited number of independent properties across France. We are not looking for the largest number, but for hosts who share the same high standards of quality, care and knowledge of their area, united around common goals:

• Increasing everyone’s visibility through the network and cross-recommendation between members.
• Building a selection of complementary hosts across the country.
• Building travellers’ trust, especially among international guests, through a demanding selection based on the official classification or our own GemVisited inspection, and on guest reviews. In 4 and 5-star hotels, these guests account on average for half of all nights (source: Coach Omnium, based on INSEE data): a real opportunity to grow direct bookings.
• Giving every property visibility: the website is available in English, to reach international guests.
• Reducing dependence on booking platforms, rather than favouring the digital giants, with the shared ambition of eventually reaching 60% direct bookings.
• Fostering mutual support and the sharing of best practice within a community of demanding hosts who share the same values.

Host commitment: a charter to respectBy joining Gemlidays, each host undertakes to:

• Comply with the regulations applicable to their activity.
• Run their property personally, without entrusting it to a professional concierge service.
• Maintain the quality of their property and welcome at the level required on admission.
• Respond to guests promptly and attentively, from first contact to the end of the stay.
• Keep their website up to date: availability and information.
• Guarantee the accuracy of the information provided to Gemlidays and keep it up to date.
• Report without delay any loss of classification, any non-compliance with the GemVisited criteria, or any substantial change in their activity.
• Promote the Gemlidays network to their guests, notably at departure and in the end-of-stay email.
• Support the other members of the network and recommend their properties to guests whenever the opportunity arises.
• Display the Gemlidays logo, with a link to the website, on their own website.

RecommendationGemlidays members are first and foremost travellers who love special places that reflect who they are — and the first to want to discover their peers’ properties. We recommend that each host offer an advantage to other network members when they stay with them: a discount, a special gift or a complimentary extra, highlighted directly on your listing from the Saphir tier.

Membership termsGemlidays offers four membership tiers, all reserved for properties that pass our selection.

(*) Launch offer: free for the first year from the date the listing goes live, for any application received by 31/10/2026 and limited to the first 50 hosts admitted. Without the host’s express agreement to be invoiced €29/year after this period, the listing automatically moves down to the free Opale tier rather than being unpublished.
