Le Clos du Veneur is an elegant 170 sqm half-timbered house in the heart of the Normandy countryside, on the lands of Cavoville, held by the Le Veneur family since the Middle Ages. Fully restored, it pairs exposed timber framing and a tiled roof with modern comfort. Its five bedrooms, arranged around three bathrooms, sleep up to twelve guests in carefully chosen queen-size beds. Outside, the heated pool and its natural-stone terrace look onto a large walled garden planted with olive trees and umbrella pines, with a vegetable patch and a henhouse. A peaceful, generous house for bringing family or friends together, young and old alike.

Le Mesnil-Jourdain is a village in the Eure, in Normandy, about an hour from Paris. From the house, a country lane leads straight to the waymarked trails of the Eure valley. Rouen, Claude Monet's gardens at Giverny and the châteaux of Gaillon and Champ de Bataille make for lovely day trips, as do golf, kayaking and treetop adventure courses nearby.

Julie and Vincent welcome their guests to Le Clos du Veneur themselves. Vincent has been hosting guests for ten years.
