Classified 4 stars by Atout France in 2024, Polka occupies the upper floor of an architect-designed house in Duisans, near Arras. Its bright 100 sqm sleep up to eight guests in three large bedrooms with king-size beds, including a 20 sqm master suite with a shower room and separate WC. The living space brings together a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining area and a lounge; wide picture windows look out over the garden and the outdoor pool, heated from May to September depending on the weather. In the basement, an independent wellness area (hammam, jacuzzi, relaxation lounge and shower) is free to use from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm and can be booked for private use. The pool and wellness area are shared with the house's second gîte. The owners live on site and tend the garden themselves.

Duisans is a village in the Pas-de-Calais, right next to Arras. In town, you can climb to the top of the belfry, stroll around the squares with their Flemish-style façades and visit the citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The surrounding area keeps the memory of the Great War alive, with the Wellington Quarry, the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette necropolis and the Canadian National Vimy Memorial. The Louvre-Lens, the Arras golf course and hiking trails round out the outings.
